How does the chronograph work?
Press the upper pusher (2 o'clock) to start timing. Press it again to stop. Press the lower pusher (4 o'clock) to snap all hands back to 12 — you'll feel and hear the VK63 mechanism reset. The small running seconds subdial at 12 ticks continuously while the watch is running.
What is a screw-down crown and how do I use it?
The crown (the small knob on the right side of the case) is screw-down for extra moisture protection. Before setting the time or date: unscrew the crown counterclockwise until it releases. After adjusting: press it inward and screw it clockwise until it is snug. Never pull or push the crown without first unscrewing it — and always screw it back down before wearing.
Is this an automatic watch?
No — and that is a good thing. The VK63 meca-quartz gives you mechanical chronograph action with quartz accuracy. No winding, no drift, no service appointments. A battery lasts around 3 years. Swap it and keep going.
